Opportunity Details

This work creates a valuable link between the WaterAfrica community and World Vision Zambia and the people they serve. WaterAfrica occasionally takes travel teams (at their own expense) to Zambia so we can see firsthand the WASH needs and the solutions being implemented by World Vision, which our fundraising supports. We meet Zambian villagers and hear their stories. We interact with World Vision staff and learn about their challenges and successes. These    experiences encourage us to come back and continue work on our mission to raise awareness, raise funds, and transform lives.

We are blessed by the generosity and gifts that come from our WaterAfrica Community.

 WaterAfrica hosts a Walk4Water event each April. Join us in April 2024 at Foothills Park in Lake Oswego as we seek to “finish the job” in Zambia by 2025!
