Join us as Lake Grove partners with Torchbearer’s School in Beer Sheba, Senegal through our 2026 Pentecost Special Offering. Together with mission partners Eric and Heesuk Toumieux, we are launching a 3-year effort to help complete the school by 2028, with a goal of raising $20,000 each year for the project.
The project will consist of 3 phases:
1. The final classroom of the primary cycle through grade 6.
2. A multipurpose room that can be used as a refectory to serve lunch (especially on dusty/rainy days), a playroom, a library, or a movie room.
3. A basketball area especially for the girls. Senegal offers a lot of soccer opportunities and often girls are not comfortable playing the sport. A couple of basketball courts would allow them to offer sports summer camps and involve more children from the community in their ministry.
