Women's Bible Study

CALLING ALL LAKE GROVE WOMEN!  To complement this Fall’s sermon series on the Gospels, our second Bible study for Fall ’24 will feature a 7-week videotaped series of teachings entitled The Gospel of John:  Savoring the Peace of Jesus in a Chaotic World by Melissa Spoelstra.  This study explores the unique sense in which Jesus offers a different kind of “livable” peace than our often chaotic world can offer in terms of his plan, power, patience, purposes, promises and passion. 

Format begins with introductory comments, brief sharing of “God sightings”, diving into the video series (possibly coupled with a little supplementary teaching at times), followed by ample time for small group discussion groups, concluding in sharing and lifting up prayer concerns to God.  Coffee/tea and light snacks provided.
