To complement this Fall's sermon series, Come and See! Waking with Jesus, this Bible study will help navigate the varied literary terrain of the Gospels by examining such genres as narrative, metaphor, parables, teaching, dialogue, and prophecy to engage hearers in Jesus' live-giving message. Each study will begin with introductory comments, a brief sharing of "God sightings", diving into the video series, followed by a time of small group discussion, concluding with sharing and uplifting prayer concerns to God. Coffee, tea, and light snacks served. Wednesdays 9:30-11 AM in the Courtyard Room, September 11-October 23, 2024.
