Men's Spring Hike

LGPC Men’s Fun & Fellowship Hike - Trail of Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park, Saturday Morning May 2, 2026 

1. Lake Grove Hikers, Save the date to join us as we hike a 5-mile section of the Trail of Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park.  We will see 6 falls along the Canyon, Winter and Rim Trails then stay for lunch by the South Falls Café.  Bring your own lunch or purchase lunch at the Café. 

2. Dads with kids are welcome!  A fun outing while the ladies of the church are at the Women’s Retreat. 

3. We will meet at Church to leave in carpools by 8 AM.  We will then meet outside the restrooms at the North end of the main parking lot near the South Falls Lodge to begin hiking by 9:30. The hike takes approximately 3 hours.  Hikers should be back to the Church by around 2:30 or 3:00. 

4. The charge for parking is $10 per vehicle and can be purchased online the night before or at the lot.  

5. The hike is rated moderate by AllTrails but sections are rocky and wet and can be slippery so good hiking boots and hiking pole(s) are recommended.
