When Love is Not Enough: Strategies to Help A Child Seek and Accept Mental Health Support and Treatment 

Bestselling author, speaker and trainer Julie A. Fast will explain the system she teaches to parents and partners who want to help a child without losing the self in the process. Julie will cover the importance of a correct diagnosis, the difference between treatment and management, how to talk with kids about mental health (even if they refuse to talk), how to use leverage to create a reciprocal relationship with your child, how to talk openly about suicidal thoughts, how to talk about cannabis and other drug use and ultimately how to figure out what YOU need in order to help a person find stability. There will be a one hour talk and a full hour for audience questions and participation.
