Cascades Presbytery, our regional family of 90+ churches

Some of our mission budget supports the ministries of our larger, connected Church. About 2/3 of those funds remain in our general area for a wide variety of projects like: financial assistance for small churches and new church development; presbytery conferences; advocacy for hunger action, peacemaking, eco-justice; leadership support and development for clergy and laity. The rest of the funds support the mission of the national church (General Assembly) for things like over 100 missionaries active around the world, for evangelism and church growth, grants to ecumenical agencies, and resources and services to congregations and mission governing bodies.
