Pastor for Encouraging / Acting Head of Staff
Pastor Robin oversees the Board of Deacons and their various caring ministries including the Friendship Visitation Team, Offsite Communion, Prayer/Care Teams, Stephen Ministry and the Memorial service team. Robin earned her Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary and has completed all but the dissertation of a Doctor of Ministry degree.
She is married to Roger Garvin, MD. Robin and Roger have one daughter, Erica, who currently resides in Atlanta Georgia. In her free time, Robin enjoys outdoor activities, reading, music, and spending time with family.
Associate Pastor - Equip and Extend
Graig is a proud Native Portlander, but has lived in California, Minnesota and Germany as well. He currently resides in Sherwood with wife Laura, a teacher, and two teen aged daughters, Ariel and Zoe. Graig has been here at LGPC since 2001 and loves being a part of this faith community.
Graig’s three advanced degrees cover theology, German and theater. His responsibilities at LGPC cover discipleship (Christian Education - Equipping) and missions/evangelism (Extending).
Graig is passionate about authentic worship (that which is neither rote nor theatrical); honest, trusting relationships; serious Bible study (God’s Word invites and rewards exploration); and demonstrating the truth of the Gospel in word and deed. Graig is also very passionate about his family, books, movies, history and this fascinating planet-home God has given us.
Executive Director of Ministries
Doug oversees church finances, facilities, IT, HR and ER. Doug joined LGPC in 2014 from a 30 year experience as a manager and engineer in the semiconductor technology industry. He also was founder of the Aloha Community Library Association, a successful nonprofit in Aloha and active in lay leadership with his church, Cooper Mt. Presbyterian Fellowship in Aloha, OR. He has a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.
He is married to Cheryl and has 3 adult children: Megan, Katie and Steven. His free time is devoted to family and community service in the community of Beaverton/Aloha where he has lived for the past 30 years.
Debra has served at LGPC since 2004 beginning as the Program Assistant for the Music Ministry then became the Pastoral Assistant to Bob Sanders in 2005. In addition to aiding the Senior Pastor, she handles session matters, baptisms, weddings, and membership. She supervises the front desk and oversees many of the daily operational needs of the church building and staff.
Prior to LGPC, Debra was on staff for seven years at a large non-denominational church in Seattle, WA where she was a member for ten years before moving to the Portland area with her husband and three sons.
Sheri is a Pastoral Assistant to Pastor Graig Flach, and has been serving at LGPC since March 2003. She served as Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Head of Staff at Milwaukie First Baptist for twelve years before coming to LGPC.
Sheri gives support to Pastor Graig in his many areas of oversight involving Missions and Education. She loves the Lord, is passionate about her work and is grateful she is able to serve the Lord day-by-day here at LGPC.
Sheri has been married to husband John since 1972, has raised three sons, accrued two daughter-in-laws and now has the joy of being a grandmother to two grandsons and one granddaughter. She loves ways to express creativity and her hobbies include antique hunting, rubber stamping, gardening, photography, watercolor painting, creating family photo books and cooking.
Director of Music Ministries
Wendy Bamonte is our Director of Music Ministries, and has been serving at LGPC since 1999. She holds a B.A., a Master in Teaching Music, and a Master in Flute Performance from Boston University. Before settling in Portland, Wendy spent a year on the Broadway National Tour of Les Miserables.
Wendy directs our Sanctuary Choir and enjoys employing a variety of musical styles in worship – full orchestras, marimbas, gospel singers, guitars – you name it! She also has a passion for illuminating the Word of the morning through song.
Wendy lives in SW Portland with her husband Dave (Associate Principal Trumpet of the Oregon Symphony) and their daughter Emily.

Melinda is the main administrator for Music Ministries and works closely with Director Wendy Bamonte, Organist Jeff Wood and the rest of our Traditional Worship team.
Director of Youth Ministries
Kathleen hails from Minneapolis and is an original MN twin which accounts for her love of the game. Her other interests include golfing, kayaking, sailing, and searching for God on the silver screen.
Kathleen came to LGPC after 15 years of campus ministry at Oregon State University. She intentionally swam up stream to work with middle schoolers seeing that time as a crucial time for spiritual development and growth. Her creativity, humor, and enthusiastic love for the Lord enable her to lead a ministry that is fun and significant. She is the queen of theme who won't confuse youth activity for youth ministry.
Kathleen graduated from Denver Seminary top in her class earning an M.A. in Specialized Campus Ministry. She has been serving at LGPC since 2005.

Jennifer grew up in Puyallup, Washington, home of the Western Washington State Fair. She is married with two children. She and her husband Steve have attended Lake Grove Presbyterian Church for 15 years.
Jennifer is excited to be a part of the fourth service staff and to work with children and their families as they grow together in their faith.
Jeff joined the music team at LGPC in September 2013. Recognized as a “Rising Star” by the American Guild of Organists, he has been playing the organ professionally since age 13. Jeff holds a Master of Music Degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where he studied Organ, Harpsichord, and Clavichord. He and his wife Jessica (and their two cats) live in Sellwood.
English Handbell Director
Leanne has been directing our Covenant Bell Choir since 1989. She started as a substitute ringer with the choir, and soon became indispensable. Leanne has been a resident of Lake Oswego since 1977, but was born in Iowa and has a nursing degree from the University of Iowa. She's been active in music since fourth grade, playing flute and bassoon; singing in church choirs. Presently, she rings in the Lake Oswego Methodist Church Handbell Choir, where she's been a member for 23 years. Here at Lake Grove Presbyterian, Leanne directs our Covenant Bell Choir as well as Peace Ringers (youth bell choir), providing bells for all ages. "The Handbell music and the ministry brings such joy to my life, I don't know what I'd do without it."

Julie has been the director of Joy Choir since 1995. She has an Elementary Education degree (BA) from Lewis and Clark College, and taught school in Beaverton for 18 years. Her music experience includes 7 years of studying piano and close to 25 years of singing in church choirs.
